VoX Communications Adds Florida Telephone Services to its Growing List of Wholesale Customers

Florida Telephone Services Expands Offering and Service Area with VoX's Nationwide Broadband Phone Service

CELEBRATION, Fla., April 11, 2006 – VoX Communications Corp., eLEC Communications Corp.'s wholesale and retail provider of Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) services nationwide, today announced that Florida Telephone Services (FTS) will expand its offering with private-labeled broadband phone service from VoX. The new service from FTS will be available to residential and small business customers nationwide beginning in May 2006.

FTS currently provides traditional local and long distance phone service in Florida, Texas and Nevada. Now, with VoX Communications, FTS is setting its sights on a nationwide market for digital voice services, while meeting consumer demand for phone service that offers more features and unlimited calling for less money. On average, FTS' broadband phone services will cost 40 percent less than their traditional unlimited rate plan. The company plans to launch the new service with a targeted regional advertising campaign consisting of television, radio and print ads.

"When we made the decision to offer broadband phone service, it was critical that we identify a high quality VoIP solution that would work with our existing billing and support processes and systems", said Paul Joachim, CEO at FTS. "VoX was extremely flexible in working with us and efficient in meeting our business requirements. They also provide VoIP expertise to complement our in-house telecom expertise. It's a great partnership."

"FTS has built a successful business on innovation, speed to market, reliability and an overall commitment to customer satisfaction", said Mark Richards, Chief Information Officer at VoX. "We are happy to help them expand their reach with our broadband phone service. Our private-labeled solution allows FTS to immediately jump out of the gate with high quality, cost-effective VoIP technology that is packaged, marketed, and supported under the FTS brand. We're pleased to add FTS to our growing list of wholesale customers."

About Florida Telephone Services

Florida Telephone Services (FTS) was founded in 1997 and is headquartered in Longwood, Florida. FTS was created in the aftermath of the Telecom Act of 1996 as an alternative for consumers unhappy with the treatment they had been receiving from the incumbent phone companies. FTS quickly achieved its goal of providing customers with the same services they were accustomed to receiving, but with a much higher level of customer care. FTS has attacked challenges in the industry head on. As a result the company has built its own billing and customer management software – and has even sold it to its competitors. Today FTS is expanding to provide its customers with more choices and serve them better with the latest technologies.
